Shipping policy

Every Chic Sips order is prepared with care from order to delivery. We ship from Melbourne, Australia, and take pride in delivering a smooth experience from start to finish.

This policy operates in addition to, and subject to, any rights you have under Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (Australian Consumer Law).

Processing and delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 2 to 3 business days. Once shipped, delivery timeframes are:

  • Standard (Australia): 2 to 8 business days
  • Express (Australia): 1 to 4 business days
  • International: 6 to 15 business days, depending on location

For pre-orders, estimated shipping times will be advised at checkout and may differ from standard timeframes. For more information, see our Pre-Order Policy.

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed, though we will always do our best to meet them. We work to keep things moving quickly, though public holidays and peak periods may occasionally cause delays or take longer than usual. If this is the case, we’ll keep you informed so you know what to expect.

Orders containing multiple items may be shipped in separate parcels, which may arrive at different times.

International customers

For international orders, local customs duties, import taxes or customs clearance fees may apply. These charges are set by the receiving country’s customs authority and, if applicable, will need to be paid by the person receiving the delivery before delivery can be completed.

Please note that customs processing may delay estimated delivery times and is outside of our control. We recommend that you check your country’s importation fees and restrictions before ordering.

We offer flat-rate shipping across Australia:

  • Complimentary standard shipping on all Australian orders of $150 or more

  • Flat-rate standard shipping within Australia: $12.95

  • Flat-rate express shipping within Australia: $19.95

International shipping

We ship internationally to selected destinations.

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order size. Any applicable duties, taxes or customs charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are determined by local authorities.

Delivery times vary by destination and will be shown at checkout where available.

Damage

If a parcel is damaged or lost before it is delivered to your delivery address, please contact us at hello@chicsips.com.au and we will look into this with the postage provider.

We’ll do our best

While we take all reasonable steps to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage suffered due to a delay caused by our carrier, customs requirements or by events outside our reasonable control. This includes delays caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

Failed delivery

Please make sure you provide accurate delivery information and, if necessary, ensure someone is available to receive delivery.

If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or is not collected from a collection point, redelivery fees may apply.
